What materials will students need this year?
- Students will need 1 composition book, 1 folder OR binder, pencils, looseleaf paper, and their planner.
What are some ways parents can help in the classroom?
- Donations of extra supplies are always welcome! Some frequently used supplies in our classroom include pencils, paper, tape, glue sticks, scissors, crayons, markers, colored pencils, rulers, folders, and composition books.
- If you are an expert in a math-related field or would like to volunteer other talents in the classroom, please contact me and we can discuss ways for you to share your expertise and experiences with the students.
- Encourage your children (and their friends!) to always try their best and ask for help when needed.
How can students make up work when they are absent?
Go to your class' website under "MATH CLASSES" in the menu above to find out what you missed. Then, see Ms. Berman or Ms. Hartung for any worksheets and update your Interactive Math Notebook using a classmate's notebook or the classroom model notebook. Graded assignments can be made up during revisit or after school on Thursdays from 2:45 - 3:45. If you need additional help in making up your work, please read below for more options.
